Tube lining

We had a lovely day at Jackfield Tile Museum at the start of June. They have a great little workshop where you can have a go at decorating a tile using the tube lining technique - using something like a piping bag to squeeze clay lines onto the tile, and when (after a short time) the clay has dried, fill the spaces between with different coloured glazes. They fire the tiles and send you the results.

Today we took delivery of these tiles, which our girls made.
