Point of no return

Decided to remove and replace the rotten window frame bottom bits. The wood under the rot was lovely. I can't see the stuff I'm using to replace it with lasting a hundred years plus. Maybe one day I'll get my head around having to fix the cracks in the wall. I'm thinking plasticine and lots of paint.
