Mercat Cross

Another hot sunny day, I took a wander up the Royal Mile where there was the usual crowds of tourists and a couple street performers. Today's Blip is of Scotland's Official National animal, The Unicorn! This unicorn is on the very top of the "Mercat Cross" which was where the news of the day used to be announced back in the 1600's
