Good sport

Today was Ferguson's Sports Day. I think with the timing of the World Cup, rather than use their house names - Alphin, Dovestone, Pots & Pans, Indians Head- they have opted for the countries.
As you can see, there was some pride in being Brazil. (2nd place- England ironically came 1st)
There was long jump, sprints, hula hooping, basketball, tennis - very different from the sports day I was expecting, or been experienced myself.
My school was very traditional with teams named Trojans, Spartans, Romans, Celts & it was all super competitive.
Perhaps modern day is for the better sometimes its the taking part that counts...
