171/365 Reading Poolside

Today was the first time in almost two weeks that I didn't have somewhere to be or something that needed to be done. It was a perfect summer day (though summer doesn't officially begin until 6:51 AM EDT) so I headed to the pool in late afternoon to continue reading Lydia Davis's new collection of short stories. I am filled with gratitude and appreciation for carefree days like this.
