Summer on the Allan Water

The depths and variations of green along the banks of the Allan water today were quite outstanding. The weather had also tempted a couple of young girls to swim in the river....they claimed it was not too cold!

Just a mention for Costa Rica : every World Cup throws up a great performance from a so - called underdog and today Costa Rica played brilliantly to beat Italy. To qualify for the next tage from a group containing three former winners is a wonderful achievement.
