Light Test

Photographed a wedding today - it was a long day but a really nice one.. lovely venue, really nice and relaxed crowd, fantastic weather. Good photo day!

Did have a slightly hairy moment this morning while I was photographing the bridal preparations. The bridesmaids had all left in one car with Mum and I was just grabbing the last few photos outside with Dad and the bride before dashing off to the ceremony venue. Just as I was about to leave, we realised that the house had been locked up with all my camera gear, car keys, phone and all my paperwork still inside, and the only person with the keys had already left with the bridesmaids! A few panicked phone calls later - we finally managed to get through to someone in the first wedding car to get them to turn back to bring us the house keys! Mercifully, by some complete fluke of nature, my lovely bride today had been ready super-early, so the shenanigans with the house keys didn't really delay the proceedings.

Today's blip is a photo of me that Mr M took later in the day while testing the lighting set up for some portraits of the bride and groom. I think I look slightly bedraggled but I had been at it for 9 hours non-stop at this point!
