Seeing Red

So today:
the watch was 10 minutes slow
the tram works created more traffic chaos than usual
the behind-time bus driver drove into a tree, which smashed the near window, triggered flashbacks to other traumatic bus incidents
the man in Waitrose spilled coffee at my feet when trying to put the lid on his cup
this week's Friday biscuit buyer brought Sainsbury's Basic Digestives ONLY!!!!!!
the memory forgot to buy a new watch battery
the shelf removed from the fridge refused to slide back into place
the supper languished in the freezer when it was time to cook it from thawed
the time is past midnight

phew, that means it's another day
