The old fishing village of Tarbert

Had more of a leisurely drive down to the fishing village of Tarbert this morning and for the first time since I arrived in Scotland on Monday had to wear a coat.

The weather picked up in the afternoon and I went over to Knapdale where 5 years ago they released sone beavers to try and reintroduce them to the wild.

Unfortunately as it was a sociable hour (not sunrise or sunset) they were not playing out.
I did however see the large dam they have built over the last few years that has created their own wetland/pond area which is now separate from the main loch.
