Gingerbread Dumplings

I went to the school cafeteria again after a very long time. I gave up on their plain tasteless meals lacking invention whatsoever, but today they surprised me with their vegetable couscous and a sweet meal which was called 'gingerbread dumplings'. They were incredibly tender and delicious. I took a portion home and prepared it with fruit and cottage cheese for my hubby. He couldn't believe it was made in the school canteen. :)
