Loch Ness at Dores

Sometimes I think the stuff about the supposed monster masks the simple beauty of this loch. A long gash in the land created by the Highland fault makes this an almost unfathomably deep lake. Walk into the loch from Dores beach and you're up to your neck after less than ten metres. It's deeper than the North Sea, which is why nothing lives down there. No light, no organisms, your monster would starve. Sorry. (Wait a minute, is that a hump I see....)
