The Newark Group

I am at a gathering in Leicester for people suffering from prostate cancer. It's been an interesting day, some tears inevitably, where someone has passed away as my friend Mick, but joy at meeting and sharing our experiences, survival and new horizons. A few of us have met this last year in Newark to have a drink,meat and support each other and some of those are photoed here. I have their permission to post and hence the title.

These are bittersweet meetings but people are so kind and supportive it is so worth the time and effort.

I return home tomorrow when I hope to catch up on everyone else's time this week.
