cooling off

We went to London today To West End Live which is a show case in Trafalgar square for all the west end shows the summer. It was packed to say the least. Didn't get any tickets as we could only buy them in advance from the theatre.

We then walked back the the South bank where we met a friend and her daughter and sat sipping Pimm's whilst watching the youngsters dodge the water spouts. It was a square divided into 4 by water walls which fluctuated in height. the young kids loved it and got soaked but the bigger 'kids' were more cautious but fun was has by all. It was hard choosing which to put up so there are a few more here

It is Mr G's 65th birthday today and we had a lovely relaxing day followed by fish and chips when we got home.

Our daughter sent us a lovely Gluten free hamper from Cornwall as my birthday is later this week too.
