Summer Solstice

Today my boss had a summer BBQ and invited all the team and neighbours and so on. It was all rather good. Well good until the BBQ was actually attempted. The prof left the cooking to his PhD students who made a valiant attempt to cook but had a lot to cook on a very small BBQ. We declined the sausages which didn't look that well cooked. Then more charcoal was needed, and smoke poured everywhere. In the end we just had a vegetable kebab and grabbed a burger from the chip shop on the way home. But it was a lot of fun
