The Countryside Changes

At this time of the year the useful farmland around the edge of the moor starts to look completely different as the crops ripen and the hay is cut. You can see the patchwork of colours here. Shariptor is top left next is Peek Hil and on the right you can just see the top of Sheeps Tor.

Came home today and brought George with us - he will be here for the next two and half weeks and is bound to feature at some point.

The journey home was hot and busy. Hot because on probably on the hottest day of the year the air con decided to take a day off. Busy because the M5 was solid for a few miles south of the M4 junction as the holiday season starts to build up. It will get much worse in a few weeks.
