Areuse gorge

We had an early start today as the kids were setting off at 7 am to Brugg for their swimming competition. As soon as they left we got into the car and went to Jura to hike around Creux du Van - a spectacular rocky cirque. We always had it on our list of things to see, but somehow never had time to go there. Afterwards we walked through a fantastic Areuse gorge. I really don't know which hike was more exciting. On the way home we stopped in Neuchatel for a cup of coffee. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to explore the city and could only go for a short walk through the city centre and to the yacht marina. But it is a beautiful place and you feel there like in the south of France. As we returned at 9 pm, the kids were already at home. They both had a great day as well and Jakub and his team won a gold medal!
