Sketching

I have always loved sketching with pencil, but there's been a sorry gap over the last few troublesome years. Now I've found time to return to creating images in varying grades of graphite. Here is the early stage of a picture of poppies in a corn field, based on photographs captured while out running on the Sussex Downs. The main image will be monochrome, with a poppy picked out in red ink. This picture may take several months to complete because I am easily distracted.
