Solstice midnight

A rather grainy photo, but as the clouds of the day vanished in the evening I wanted to show what it's like here at midnight on the longest day. It's certainly not dark, and I suspect the sky won't get any darker than this as the last light moves round to become the dawn.

In a couple of nights I shall be much further north than this. I wonder what it'll be like at night in the Outer Hebrides...
