Oh what a night
The peregrines are majestic in flight and this one was snapped on the way back from a shopping trip, I stopped to show Lesley how they were doing, it wasn't however intended to be the blip !!
Instead I thought a shot of a lovely evening out at Sat Baines, 2 Michelin star, restaurant would be a good diary entry. This year is our Silver Wedding and our 2 sons treated us to a 10 course tasting menu at the said restaurant, a real treat and a lovely prezzy. Except, without going into graphic detail, I was terribly sick after the 3rd course. No problem all day, enjoyed the first intro courses and then .... I think its called projectile !! ( but did make it to the loo). This hasn't ever happened to me before, I eat anything and everything, and hadn't eaten anything that was new to me. Anyway I'm fine again now and can only think it was perhaps something to do with the scallops ??
Lesley managed a couple more courses, between me making runs, but in the end we had to call it a night and ring Nick for our lift home.We feel so sorry for the boys they wanted us to have a memorable time for the right reasons.
For the record the staff at Sat Baines were brilliant and helped me sit in the fresh air bring me mint tea etc. I appeared to be the only one in the restaurant with a problem, perhaps an allergy or a dodgy single scallop, no idea ... but I don't want that feeling again and scallops are not so nice I want to go near another one any time soon ...
