A family of their own

When I last visited the duck pond in Meriden I reported that after two years Goosey Lucey was no longer a lone goose on the pond - he had been joined by a female goose. Well, when I returned today, I was pleased to see that Nature had taken its course and Mr and Mrs Goose now have a family of five lovely goslings to call their own... they are already quite big and starting to lose their downy feathers. This one had squeezed under the fencing and was happily munching at the grass on the side of the road, whilst Dad was shouting at him to get back to the pond.
