Modern Times

One of the dominating motifs in Charlie Chaplin's film is that of cogs and wheels (representing the evils of the modern, industrialized world).

This is the interior mechanism of my Grandfather's Clock -- a lovely old Scottish antique waiting for its moment to be restored to full chiming glory. Not such modern time!
