In Pink, Evening, The Forty Foot
'Take a picture of me!'
'Okay.'
'What's your man doing? Is he posing with that book?'
'Well, he was reading it before you came over so I guess he really is genuinely reading it.'
The Forty Foot, despite being one of the most photo-bombed places in Dublin, is always interesting, especially in summer; a partly natural and partly constructed stage set, or rather a series of stage sets, with people climbing the rocks to jump in or basking like lizards on the walls or sitting on the bus-shelter-style benches. Different worlds, with different, mostly unselfconscious, poses.
