"This is the very spot where Saint à Col Bum came ashore on his long journey From Obum to Australia in 1826 after a disastrous collision with a Calmac ferry en-route to Tarbert.
It is generally regarded that this tragic event brought Christianity to this isolated part of Scotland. Indeed Saint A `Col Bum rescued the cargo of wheelbarrows and used them to teach the locals to walk upright.
To commemorate the historic event the local township have erected this fine public convenience beautifully maintained by the famous man's great grandson. Now if you'll just stand in front of this beautiful tourist spot I'll take a snap of you and your lovely hubby…"
