Corpus Domini

The feast of Corpus Domini is celebrated in Acuto with an 'infiorata' where the streets of the town are decorated with designs, at one time of flower petals. Now coffee granules, flour and sawdust are used with some flowers and greenery. After all the hard work a procession through the streets destroys it all in minutes.

This is my first blip this holiday as have only just got a connection so lots of back blips to come.
