Beautiful Weeds

Fought the battle of the weeds in the garden today - I don't know what these are called but it's a large grass and the golden seed head catching the sunlight was pretty.
Bertie even wandered outside for a quick grass nibble so i lured him back inside with chicken as we have been asked to keep him inside for at least a month!
Feeling virtuous, if achy now.
'Nanny' P's Mother , came down to meet Bertie and he behaved apart from a quick swipe at me when I startled him by walking past too quickly. We all enjoyed a scone a nd jam together.
