Unbelievable agony!

Then after a minute or two, the body adjusts, and your legs start to work again!
And we had a delightful paddle for most of the length of the beach, by which time it felt quite warm, and we enjoyed it, just like a couple of kids!
Even the wind was warm.
Normally it's spotless sand, but recent rough weather has brought in a lot of Kelp, as you see.
The beach is Cattersby Sands, at Skinningrove, one of the best unspoilt beaches in Yorkshire :-)
