Open garden day

Normally you wander around extremely intimidating highly manicured and beautifully presented gardens owned by people who spend all their waking hours gardening - the owners of this house decided to show what you can achieve by leaving all your expensive equipment locked securely in the garage and letting Mother Nature do all the work.
Result - a beautiful wild flower meadow in suburbia! (Although probably not very pleasant for hay fever sufferers.) Maybe this is where I have been going wrong - I should just stop trying and let the garden run wild!!
