Midsummer

Today was a beautiful sunny day but I spent most of the day doing household chores and paperwork. That sounds dull, but I also spent quite a bit of time outdoors enjoying the garden. A friend came to help me with some gardening work in the afternoon and I cooked burgers for us on the grill. It was a hot day and it was finally cool enough to take Dolly for a walk at almost 9pm as the sun was setting. It was only a short walk in the nearby park, but the best shot of the sunset was right here along my road.
