A great weekend, if somewhat busy.

Wedding of two dear friends yesterday with Mrs DD doing all the floristry for some days before and culminating in a great success.

Walk along the canal with the dog late last evening - making the most of the longest day which for a change was a good one - and then visiting more friends - Brent and Mark - at The Navvy.

Bought a second-hand book there for Father, which he will enjoy as it will kindle memories of Saturday evenings in front of the tellybox many years ago.

And then another glorious day helping to finish the food off from the wedding at lunch time followed by some work in the garden, some chilling, some wine drinking and reading, some chilling, a bit more work, some wine and reading followed by some chilling with a glass of wine and a good book as the sun started to set.
