Flat

An annoying day to say the least. Spent a lot of money buying things I have been putting off for a while. Pretty boring things that are life's necessities but which people grudge spending money on.

I drove home and parked outside, instead of in the garage, as I was due to head back out again in a short time. We step out the car to hear an unusual and very loud "woooooossshhhh" noise. Looked down at the tyre and saw we had a large shard of glass sticking out our now totally flat tyre. Some broken glass at the kerbside had got in our way while parking. New cars dont come with spare tyres now, so a call to the AA later, and some bodging of the hole, we abadoned the car at the nearest Kwik Fit for when it opens again tomorrow at 8.30am when we can spend even more money on a new tyre......grumble grumble!

But then we get on the road straight after that for a short road trip and some family adventures....things are looking up :)
