Friendly Street, Eugene, Oregon

Once upon a time I received a letter from the “Forgiveness Department” at a large bank.

The letter informed me that due to my spotless record of payments on my student loan, the bank had forgiven me for the very last payment.

At the time I laughingly thought what a very cool department for a bank to have and how nice it must be to work there.

One of my favorite places to ride my bicycle on the Fern Ridge Path brings me past “Friendly Street”.

Once again, I find that I am greatly entertained by this street’s seemingly whimsical name.

Living on Friendly Street, in Eugene, Oregon is indeed a very fine place to be.
