Sore

I woke with a hangover. Naturally.

The job for the day was sealing up the sluice in the pond. Getting the materials down there took the morning. Then I found out that the electricity supply was broken, so had to run 150m of extension.

Now I was ready to pump the water out, so that it was dry enough for concrete & blocks. Claire and the kids took it in turns to operate the pump (the water was flowing in, but slower than the pump was pumping out).

I hand batched rapid set cement and managed to get 5 courses laid. It looks like it's holding. Another 5 and I'll be done.

Boy am I sore. All over.
