MonoMonday ______ Still Life

This is my contribution to this week's MonoMonday challenge which is being hosted by Rainie for the month of June.


My Grandfather’s watch.

This was my late Grandfather’s watch which is resting on his old Cabin Trunk. They are probably a similar age. Circa 1936 I think. I base this on an advertisement I saw in an old newspaper from 1936 advertising watches that looked very similar.
The watch still goes and keeps near perfect time. It has a very loud tick and is rather heavy.
