Chronicles

This particular bit of Charity Shop Treasure is a beautiful old book I bought for Beck last week because the title (and some of the illustrations) amused me. Luckily she likes it too. We took our recently exhumed bikes on a trip round Bestwood Park today, picnic and camera duly packed, but my battery ran out before I'd taken a photo so I'll have to make do with a little emergency still life instead. To be honest, what with eleven miles of unaccustomed exercise and a fairly energetic burst of hedge-cutting to boot, I'm far too knackered to bother with anything else...!
