To Admire the View
As one travels along so slowly there is always ample time to admire the view. One would think that canals such as the Huddersfield Narrow and Broad might be associated with better times and that they would not be scenic.
That is seldom correct and here you see the boat travelling up the Pennines in Lock 14W. The "W" stands for "West" and which as it implies is on the west side.
We travel along in our own corridor of greenness and in a completely different world.
