Three pigeons for lunch.

I had lunch with these three birds today, as I sat on a bench near the Scott Monument in Edinburgh.

As I sat watching the many people strolling along, I was very aware that a good half of them were carrying cameras, and many were taking long shots of the Castle. The accents suggested that there are already many tourists in Edinburgh from many parts of the world. I am sure they are enjoying our beautiful capital city.

The pigeons however, couldn't have cared less about the view as they pecked away at the crumbs left by lunch time munchers.
