I was at Rothesay Joint Campus today to talk to S5 about their experience of Curriculum for Excellence at the invitation of a very enterprising pupil , Jamie Murray.

Then , with Jamie McGrigor MSP , I took part in a Parliament outreach event involving Primary 7 who , after lots of questions about lots of things including independence ( of course) let us see some of the torches they had made for a possible Commonwealth Games held on Bute.

These two - from Katie & Ryan - were two of the best but there lots of good ones and lots of talent on display.

Later I had surgery appointments on the island and then set off to speak at a YES meeting in Kilmelford . Fortunately the sun was still shining.
