New Life

We've had a family of sparrows in the garden for a few days, with several fledglings pestering their parents for food. They look to be feeding themselves now with an occasional queue for the feeder forming in one of the trees.

The remains of the yellow gape are still just about visible on some of them but they are looking ~80% ready for independence.

I was hoping to get the three youngest together but as ever, they don't necessarily have photographic convenience at the top of their priority list.
