A Little Oasis

I was walking through Tadcaster today and was intending to photograph the sign and statue above The Angel & White Horse pub.

As I was trying to find the best angle I noticed the view through the archway with the little splash of green - which I thought was quite nice in a fairly monochrome image.

I also tried a monochrome version with green colour left in - not sure if I prefer it or not.
