Chirk Castle

This morning I went around the grounds of Chirk Castle with the walking group. Not a challenging route but chosen because the woodland provided some shade from the heat. The trees and flowers make it a pretty place in every season of the year.

I went to Ellesmere this afternoon where the town section of the canal was very busy with boats. It will be even busier soon when the schools break up.
