Spiders, graves, a Bishop & treasure

Busy day today. This morning at Sparrows Nursery, Holy Trinity Karen (nursery manager) and I attempted to clean some of the building where the new nursery will be but we were beaten back by spiders! Luckily for us a lovely lady in the parish office who wasn't scared of spiders came to our rescue and helped us de-web so we could continue to clean.

After interviewing a prospective member of staff we sat in the church yard to eat lunch. We had an explore round the graves and found some interesting inscriptions.

In the afternoon we went to Sparrows Nursery at All Saints Goodmayes and met up with Bishop John, Bishop of Bradwell; Tim Elbourne, Diocesan Director of Education & Michael Minta, Diocesan Development Director (all directors of Sparrows).

Christina, the manager welcomed us with tea & cake and I was lucky enough to be taken on a treasure hunt by 4 small children who had drawn a treasure map. The picture is of Bishop John & Christina.
