Open Gardens Day

There is a simplicity here which delights the eye.
The garden was selected for inclusion in an Open
Gardens event in support of the NSPCC. The
property has its origins in a 17th Cent farmhouse
and the secluded garden has the same Old English
charm. A pair of ducks have made their home in the
pond and, whilst absent for a few days, reappeared
a few hours before the event as if they knew no
pond would look the same without them! They were
as right as the homely presentation of the roses
on the garden table.
