Dunnock
The morning was spent taking away to the tip, a willow, which had become overgrown in The Mother's small garden. Then we set about our own garden and gathered up a lot of plant debris and made another trip to the tip. Things are looking so much better now. During a tea break I was pleased that the birds would continue to come to the garden while I sat outside with the camera. This young dunnock was chosen because it was in the bushes, rather than on the bird feeders.
In the afternoon I called in to see how the Studio was coming along and tried out a 70 - 200 mm f/4 L lens Richard had got in the post this morning. Handled nicely and SO quiet.
Between these things I'm still checking on The Mother several times a day and sleeping at her house overnight. She is still unwell.
