Lift me up

A warm and humid lunchtime walk before the afternoon thunder and downpours. I happened upon this isolated dandelion head which was all complete, ready to fly. One of the more beautiful sides of nature.

The seeds do indeed fly, they are a harbinger of joy when you are most in need of lift in your flight. Spot one and you know it's marking a good thermal.

Not that you would have wanted to be in the air this afternoon. Opposite problem.
