Summer in the City
This afternoon I was back at the hospital and I was pleased that the foot is healing well and the dressing has been removed.
Now I can wash my foot - yippee!
Soon I maybe able to get a shoe on it :-)
I was so happy that I kissed Viv (the nurse)
The surgeon gave me a "don't count your chickens" look so I did not kiss him.
He is a very lovely man but in my opinion would be a lot lovelier if he did a bit less foot squeezing!! (I will send him a Thank You card and if my foot falls off I shall go back and ripped it up!)
Being in a good mood I made my way home through the city centre in the sunshine. This artwork is "Gilly Globefish" the symbol of this year's Manchester Day parade which I missed yesterday as we were in Exeter
