Excellent food

Hamburg has some of the best food I've had in ages. This was a particularly fine meal. T and I went out to dinner with his advisor and a lab mate. The restaurant was over in the university district, which is rather beautiful and more "upscale" than the industrial water front "port"district we are staying in.

This is "Hamburger panfisch" / panfish ... delicate, soft flavor. Served with potatoes. I also had "Alsterwasser" which is lemonade + lager ... although I later realized that's the same as a shandy. However, it was the finest shandy I've ever had and as a result, all shandy will forever be "Alsterwasser" to me!
