The seagulls were wheelin'

This building started off as Leith Town Hall, but was long ago turned into the local cop shop and jail. It's been a while since I posted a police related blip.

If you look very closely (so close you'll have to take my word for it), there are three false windows on the first floor, complete with dummy venetian blinds made out of concrete. These disguise the windowless cells, where the sun never shines, and the hapless criminals still languish in chains with only mice for company and bread and water for sustenance. I may be embroidering this a bit.

I'm sure the rest of the building's history is fascinating too, if you're a historian.
