Gardenia

Last of my gardenias from the bushes in my back yard.

Today was not the best of days. Woke up feeling peely-wally so in slow gear. I spent my morning making enough pasta salad for 30 people.

Mid-afternoon I headed to church to help set up for feeding a family and out of town extended family dinner after a funeral. I was then there for the funeral of a young man who lost his life on Friday.

I have come home and been a little melancholy and so heading to bed early with my book to read myself to sleep.
