Clearing skies
The intention was to take a clever, beautifully executed and classy still life for Monomonday, but after much faffing about the whole thing looked so contrived and so sloppy that I eventually just binned the idea and here you have some mono and blue skies from the start of the day instead.
Sunday was strangely dull and very un-June-like – it was actually quite refreshing! Monday morning started out looking very similar, but quickly began to revert back to service as usual (blue skies, barely a wisp of cloud, la-de-dah…). As the clouds cleared, it all looked quite dramatic for a while. Behind us the mountains still had a steely grey backdrop, but ahead of us, towards the sea, summer was breaking through – and the holiday flights were heading on in to Malaga as they do every morning at this time of year!
