A rose for winter.

There are several blooms coming out on this rose. It normally flowers in the summer.
We are off in the morning, house sitters all installed, got the lists about water, cats, etc etc. Dogs packed up and ready to go to where they are going. Not staying together at the same place this time, only Poppy going back there. They are both a lot better behaved when they aren't together.
Fingers crossed for the weather on Thursday morning, as we are on the early flight out of Blenheim to Auckland, then Brisbane, so staying the night in town with friends.
